Founded almost 100 years ago, this client has developed to become one of the largest and most respected sign manufacturers in the UK.

Their highly experienced staff utilise the most technical and sophisticated equipment available.

The full in house service provides concept and design to finished product, installation and maintenance to some of the UK’s largest banks, building societies, restaurant chains and supermarkets.

Challenge

Large email boxes were slowing user and system resource down and becoming a productivity issue.

Solution

 KS implemented GFI Mail Archiver. This reduced mailbox size in the first instance and on an ongoing basis. Emails are available for trail and audit covering a six year history making them fully compliant to such standards as; Basel II, PCI Data Security Standard, Sarbanes-Oxley Act, UK Data Protection Act, EU DPD

Challenge

Multiple manufacturing and office locations hosting corporate artwork & work specification files led to data being transported by car between sites.

Solution

By setting up a branch Virtual Private Network (VPN) artwork, work orders and emails are available through common files across all sites.

Challenge

Large customer artwork design files (100mb+) required postal, courier or car transportation to be received safely. These methods had an impact on time, cost of delivery and service levels.

Solution

A bespoke hosted File Transfer Protocol (FTP) site was set up by KS. This provides secure access for clients to upload artwork files directly to the manufacturer therefore reducing time, cost and improving service level delivery.

Challenge

Design, production and installation meant that management staff were required to have access to an office site as part of the quality and authorisation process.

Solution

A remote access solution was delivered to allow management to work on office-based machines and shared files. This enabled work changes, review and authorisation to be provided without being in the office saving time and travel.

Results

Through ‘IT Partnering’ we have delivered solutions that make the organisation more flexible, efficient and able to continue to exceed customer expectations and service levels.
